Kiss by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy

I was really looking forward to reading Kiss by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy since my mother had recommended Ted Dekker’s books to me; however, I was really disappointed.

The plot was confused and circular; the story had too many holes in it to make much sense; and the ending was somewhat predictable. I could not identify with the characters: they lacked substance, personality, and were generally boring people. The title was even a little misleading since it wasn’t just a kiss that caused some of the reactions.

Most of the time, I finish a book in a day if I enjoy the book even remotely; this one took me a whole week to finish. In short, I was definitely not impressed. Hopefully I will be when I pick up another Ted Dekker book.
